When Living One Day at a Time Doesn’t Come Naturally In this day and age, living in the moment seems to be everyone’s ultimate goal. Living one day at a time can be frustrating for other people (especially the planners! ) It’s about asking God at the beginning of every day to provide us with exactly what we need for that 24 hours; the next day we will need to ask afresh.
And on days when I’ve needed a little help in putting one foot in front of the other, I’ve been listening to Rescue by Lauren Daigle. I’ve actually not bought any new clothes since the beginning of January (a top I’ve not even worn yet, hence my need for consolidation! ). I don’t think we caught up in autumn and here we are at the end of winter and already a good way into March! but that’s as far as it’s got for the moment.
