Baked leek and onions

Last night I was in the mood for baked onion. I love grilled or baked onion, so, with this in mind I went to the store near our home and bought a leek and red onions

Stinging nettle tea

In January I wrote about Cherry stem tea and today I am gone give you the recipe for Stinging nettle tea. You need to start to read about stinging nettle and know how good are for you. This recipe can be made with fresh nettles or dried ones, so it is great all year long. Boil the nettles for 2 minutes and then let it steep for 5 minutes.

Pasta with chicken and peanuts

I love pasta and most of the time I make it along the way without having a recipe. But, because I love pasta and my little one adores it I am doing home pasta as light I can do. My little one wants meat with the pasta and white sauce and my husband loves pasta only with tomato sauce. Anyway, sometimes I am telling him that we don’t have tomato sauce at home so he would it the pasta the way it should be: with white sauce.

Green, green and green!

If you don’t know what I mean here is a list with my favorite. They grow in my mom’s garden and I can’t wait to use them in salad, make pesto or garlic bread. Another great spring green miracle is fresh spinach which all of you know it. Actually, except stinging nettles, all these go great in a green smoothie.
