Hello! I’m Michelle, thank you for stopping by Thistle Key Lane. My home is a true reflection of me and all the things that bring me and my family joy.
Thank you for stopping by today to see my spring home tour with vintage inspired collectables. Come see what I pulled together to celebrate the season
Today I’m sharing a spring tablescape with bunnies and eggs, just in time to join the “Hop Into Easter” blog hop. Building a vignette starts with a vintage book as a base, then a potted ivy, a porcelain bunny I’ve had since childhood and a Peter Rabbit book wedged in the middle. The vintage wicker duckling is just big enough to hold a nest of Spanish moss and an Easter egg. Our local grocery store is carrying the most gorgeous naturally colored fresh eggs that are perfect for a spring table.
About Me Making a classic deviled egg recipe with toppings is only half the fun of this tasty appetizer. I should also mention deviled eggs are a great source of protein, make a pretty presentation and of course they are delicious! Refill egg white halves with egg yolk mixture and garnish with smoked paprika and fresh cracked pepper. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the yolks, reserving the egg white halves.
Today I’m sharing a simple way of updating the entry table with flowers. The first step in creating an entry table arrangement is gathering a variety of vases. The vintage looking map chart over the entry table has a wide range of colors, so just about any flower will work. In the post Ideas For Decorating With Green, I displayed big leaves in a bottle on the coffee table, believe it or not they still look perfectly healthy.
