What is a Media Kit? How to Create One + What to Include (2021)

It’s generally a one to two page document that includes key information on your mission and goals as a brand, the services you offer, your social media accounts + analytics and demographics, your contact info, samples of your work and previous brand collaborations. Later in this blog post, I’ll talk about when you should and shouldn’t send your media kit to a brand! So, in the next section of this post I’ll explain when exactly I share my media kit (with rates) with a brand. For those of you wanting to learn more about becoming a blogger and making money blogging, I’m starting a blogging series spilling all my best blogging tips and tricks that I’ve learned over the past few years. In this series, we’re covering all things media kits, how to collaborate with brands and land sponsored posts as a small blogger, how to make money blogging, social media marketing strategies, creating a consistent schedule, email marketing, blogging resources and more!

Either save a brand’s post on Instagram to remind yourself to reach out to them or keep an excel document with the list of brand names. By searching for #ad or #sponsored on Instagram, you can easily find tons of brands that are sponsoring influencers on Instagram. Influencer Scams to Watch Out For Now that you know how to find brands to work with on Instagram, I also want to share some red flags you should watch out for when deciding to work with a brand. This post was all about how to find brands to work with on Instagram as a micro influencer.

Guide to Investing for Beginners: Easy Step By Step Guide

Lily’s friends know she’s quite the entrepreneur and each give her $10 to own 5% of her lemonade stand. Wanting to make a profit, the friends who originally invested in Lily’s business for $10, sell their 5% ownership for $30 to the new friends and keep the $20 difference. Companies (Lily) issue stocks that you and I (Lily’s friends) can buy with the goal being that we all make money! Instead, if we invested our money in stocks during that time and let our money compound year after year, we only have to put in roughly $200k over 40 years time and that will be worth 1 million dollars!
