This is why we moved to Idaho

She’s reminded me that just because we’re not living on the road anymore doesn’t mean I should stop posting : ) We’ve lived in Idaho for a little over two months now. clearly see that moving to Idaho and focusing on a life that centers around aviation was what was meant to come next for us. Here’s a few photos from our afternoon flying to Garden Valley, McCall and back home: Above & Below: Many of Idaho’s backcountry strips offer camping opportunities right there alongside your airplane.

A little story about taking chances, pursuing dreams and moving to Idaho

and also so you don’t wonder why we decided to return to life on a solid foundation : ) This is our Idaho story… For the last 14 years, Mark & I have owned a business together and for roughly the last, maybe 4 years or so, we’ve questioned what’s next for us. When we pursued our passion for camping and bought our truck camper, we never would have guessed that those adventures would lead us to a new way of life and a new relationship with our money and material belongings. Nearly two years after that trip, in April of last year, Mark wanted to return to Idaho for further Kitfox-specific training. , we knew that we did, truly, unequivocally want to live in Idaho and build a new life around aviation.

Winding down our winter of wandering

After a week spent in the magnificent Alabama Hills, March was coming to a close. We’d been on the road for six months and it was time to decide how we wanted to spend our final six weeks of travel before returning to Colorado for the summer
