For the first time in almost a decade, I’ve decided that I’m going to take a *real* break, starting with our upcoming trip to London, Cornwall & Paris. And while this admittedly makes me feel a little sad (I’ve brought you guys along on every single one of these trips since the start! ) While I still adore sharing and connecting with you, which is why I don’t see myself going anywhere any time soon, I am feeling an undeniable pull to shake things up a little around here, and I’m hoping that a little distance will help shed some light on what that might look like. In the meantime, I wanted to follow up with round two of my packing post with what I’m planning on tucking away for our Parisienne leg of our trip.

Everything from booties (thank you Beyonce! ), to couches (not to toot my own horn, but I totally predicted that one back in 2018), to arches, to millwork is getting the circular treatment and I, for one, am firmly on board. I’ll never claim to be a fashionista, but I’m pretty sure the rainbow trend is a result of everyone’s newfound love of the shape as well, but I digress… Not only do they lend a unique architectural moment to a space, but I love that they break up all of those otherwise straight lines, adding a hint of softness that just can’t be beat. Following are a few examples that are each setting my heart aflutter, and if you find yourself building or scheming as you read this, I highly encourage you to incorporate this detail into your designs.
Turn on your JavaScript to view content This week’s house envy tour is extra special if only because it’s the Full House home tour, and I seriously can’t get enough. And while I know that Full House wasn’t *actually* shot within the confines of these walls, when I stumbled upon it a few weeks ago, I have to admit the six year old within me was a little disappointed that there was nary an ode to Uncle Jesse in sight. But alas, not only is it currently on the market for purchase, it’s been given a head to toe makeover in recent years, and I’m loving what I’m seeing.
