This is how the idea of the remembrance jewelry was conceived and to be honest, it was over five years ago when I made my first piece of jewelry using crushed rose petals and turning them into beads. I like to archive photos of past jewelry designs and that’s when I came across photos of one of my custom orders where I crushed rose petals, turned the petals into beads and made jewelry out of it. Fast forwarding to earlier this month, someone reached out to me to see if I could again make some sort of jewelry using dried rose petals from their late grandmother’s service. Ever since I decided last month to break out the watercolors to make this heart collage for Valentine’s Day, it made me think that I should make it a goal to do some sort of painting every couple of months. Not only am I sharing my latest seasonal painting I added to the collage wall near our entryway, but I also wanted to give you the option to download the painting in case you were feeling like it might be time to infuse a little spring into your home decor! I know how sometimes it can be challenging to find just the right photos or art to frame and thought this painting is not only perfect for spring, but is also simple and versatile — in the sense that it can go with whatever style you have going on in your home Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)
So as you open those credit card bills this month and gasp at the balance, I wanted to share a few tips on how if you simply start shopping NOW for Christmas, this coming December you can bypass the crowded shopping centers. As much as you want to buy grandma a new Christmas tree, as good as the deal may be, if you don’t have a place to store it, then the deal isn’t as sweet as it looks. I know we’re talking about shopping for Christmas, but another thing I like to do is write down all of the birthdays that I’ll need to buy presents for.
