By my very nature I am inquisitive (read nosy), particularly in regards to beauty products. I want to know what you use and why
I won't pretend for one moment that there's a suit-all solution out there but the latest Clinique launch -(foundation to us mere mortals) is pretty darn close. If like myself you never actually get around to picking up a pump for your beloved favourite bases (looking at you NARS Sheer Glow), or simply hate glass bottles for whatever reason, this should be your favourite type of packaging. As this is slightly creamier than most foundations, I do recommend setting this product with a setting Powder and/or make-up setting spray to prolong wear, especially if you do have oily to combination skin. It also contains potent peptides (not individually named) to keep skin the smooth and create a naturally flawless surface, but perhaps most significantly of all, it contains salicylic acid to gently re-texture the complexion.
The warm, almost ruddy tone of the main powder, coupled with the pale, frosty centre that can emphasis enlarged pores et al, translates to a muddy, almost dirty streak of colour on my pale complexion. Yes I went there but with four easy to blend, apply and wear eyeshadows all of which have been created to enhance all eye shapes and colours - it is easy to see why it has quickly become a firm favourite of mine and of so many others too. What I personally enjoy about all Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow quads is that they are beyond user friendly; on the back of each compact you will find each shadow numbered with a brief description of how and wear to apply, making expert application a complete breeze. Again to be completely unbiased, I do find that the "pop" or more commonly referred to glitter shade doesn't have the best colour pay-out and as such is best layered over other eye products to really make the most of the formula.
As you have most likely come to expect, the Jo Malone Wild Flowers & Weeds collection is very much limited edition so if you are in any way intrigued, then I suggest you hot-foot it along to your nearest Jo Malone retailer. As a little girl who grew up with a garden of wild flowers and probably to my Grandparents dismay a lot of weeds on occasion, the latest Jo Malone fragrance drop has a very special place in my heart. It's not often in which I truly enjoy a full fragrance line-up of this size, normally I gravitate towards one or two scents and let the others bypass me but in this instance, I am truly considering dipping into my savings account and treating myself to the three colognes I don't yet posses. If your fragrance tastes veer slightly more powdery, then I highly suggest Jo Malone Lupin & Patchouli Cologne; a whisper-soft concoction that manages to remain modern and fresh at the same time.is the fragrance equivalent of a stroll in the British countryside complete with lots of lush green scenery, fresh blooming flowers and the promise of a well-deserved glass of something cool at the end.
