(*optional if you want to make them exactly the way they are here) or the blank template in the Resource Library (see below for instructions on how to join if you’re not a member yet!) You’ll get junk journal newsletters and tips straight to your inbox as well as access to our Resource Library!
One of the easiest ways to add more interest to your junk journal as well as plenty of extra storage and tuck space is to incorporate pockets into your journal. Trace out a square on to paper, add tabs to three sides, use a hole punch (like this one) to create a tab at the top to easily pull ephemera and tags out of the pocket. Corner pockets are another super easy way to create more tuck space in your journal. You can just glue them directly to the page, or create tabs on three sides to create a large gusseted pocket with more room it in it

There comes a point in the junk journaling process where you’ve made a beautiful junk journal – you’ve made the cover, the signatures, stitched it all up beautifully (maybe even with a criss-cross stitch spine) and you’ve filled it with gorgeous embellishments. Use your junk journal as an everyday log of your day, your thoughts or as a record of special moments.
