I have this problem with feeling like I need to look perfect or have the perfect morning in order to go to church, but I was reminded recently that God doesn’t require perfection – instead, He meets us exactly where we are, and that means I can let go of any pressures I’ve put on myself and just go enjoy church, even if that means throwing on some clothes, swiping on a quick coat of mascara, and dashing out to the service.
I’m embarrassed to say that over the course of this past year, I’ve become increasingly sedentary in my everyday life.
It’s gotten to the point where I’m feeling really unhappy with my body and it’s time I make a change.
I’m currently looking into the Maker’s Diet because it’s faith-based and focuses on unprocessed, natural foods, but I’m open to other plans if you guys have any suggestions.
