Having chronic pain illnesses that flare up in the cold and in dreary weather changes, people wonder why I love Fall so much when Fall doesn’t love me. Here is just a sneak peak of the reasons why my fall self is pretty awesome: Hallmark movies galore, really that’s all I need to say! Let’s not pretend that I don’t wear sweaters even when it’s not cold out. I learned that you don’t have to leave home to live hygge, but it’s my favorite season, so I couldn’t resist creating a Fall Wish List.

Imagine my surprise when I decide to try the Dashing Diva glitter nail set, and instead of using the colored nails front that set, I mixed in MORE GLITTER from the previous navy set I also REALLY love how the marble and the mixed in glitter set I added didn’t cover my entire nail. I was able to try on their stick on gloss gel nail set for a second time and loved it even more than the first time. The marble set did start to peel a little bit the glitter sets (both sets) didn’t peel at all!

Along with apple picking, pumpkin picking has become a [new] tradition that I forced my mom to take on with me. Apparently really cold Sundays are the best days to go either apple picking or pumpkin picking, or BOTH! The cold factor must be mentioned, because I was initially wearing a winter coat, which worked at the beginning of the day of wandering. Different uses for pumpkins I’ve learned are: baking the pumpkin seeds – my mom did this, haven’t tried them pumpkin cocktail – not sure how I feel about that… pumpkin hummus – please see the above…has anyone tried this?

Which is unfortunate for the shorties – aka my mom and I. We went apple picking late this year, in October, on the last day the farm was accepting apple pickers. The intention every time I go apple picking is to grab some apples for snacks and grab some apples to make desserts. I kept snacking on those apples like nobodies business, because they’re the best, and in the end, looked down at an empty bag of apples and none to make desserts with. Not only can you go apple picking, you can also stop by the shop to grab some apple donuts.
