If you have a dream, GO FOR IT!

I liked every travel website out there so my Facebook was generally filled with mountain pictures and blog posts about people who quite their full-time job and and are now traveling full-time. I told my family I wanted to quit to travel full-time. Except this time, I wasn’t planning on coming back for a really long time. Meanwhile, I’ll be working my own business in Buffalo, getting paid good money and setting time for myself to travel literally as much as possible.

Tips for your 1st solo international trip! What to pack, safety tips and more!

” If you are bouncing around, moving through different cities, living out of hostels or airbnb’s, then you really want to strive for the smaller pack. Make-up bag, face-wash, 1 toothbrush, 1 small tube of toothpaste, 1 roll of floss, a small bottle of mouthwash, small bottle of shampoo, small hair brush and whatever else you need for hygiene. Just think of every item you are placing in your pack and just think, do I need this, and can I get this while I am over there? I went to Honduras for a bit of time and you can probably survive in Honduras with going on activities, getting a hostel every night, eating three times a day and taking transportation to travel with approximately 300 dollars for two weeks and that’s being generous.

What to expect when traveling internationally and living out of hostels

I’m not going to say which option is best for you because there are pros and cons to each, but if you like cheap accommodations, meeting people and the ability to cook while traveling, then hostels are great! When staying out of hostels, most of them give you access to a lot of things; WiFi, free breakfast, an equipped kitchen, books and games, and then a common room for you to socialize and meet people. You might be in a country where they speak a different language, eat different food, have a different form of transportation, the roads may be different, and they may drive on the opposite side of the road. The majority of people that stay in hostels I would say is in their twenties, but there are also a lot of people in their 30s, and people in their 40s, 50s, 60s, at well.

Crazy Wildlife Encounters from Alaska to Arizona, Tundra to Desert!

From backpacking in the Alaskan wilderness to thru-hiking the Arizona Trail and with hundreds of other trails in-between, I have seen an abundance of wildlife and gained great campfire stories from extremely dangerous to safe and I would love nothing more than to share my experiences with you! Recording the three bears was magnificent while the moment lasted, until they decided to run down the mountain they were on, run across the fast glacier-fed stream, and now up the same mountain The three bears walking toward us, and us walking backwards at the same pace not getting any farther from the bears. Snake bites become a pretty big deal if bitten while you are in the wilderness, and for me, walking on the Arizona trail, most of the time I was in the middle of nowhere, miles away from any help with usually a mountain or two between the help and I.
