To be honest I've never felt like time was moving so quickly yet slowly at the same time. This year has been very different for our little family and because of that I haven't been able to spend as much time here on the blog as I would like to. This darling Mama Hen quilt is one that I recently custom machine quilted and while I custom machine quilted it I did record a few videos, over the last year I've had a lot of fun creating and sharing videos of my work over on Patreon and YouTube . It's been a fun way for me to share a bit more of my process and when I've read the feedback from you all
Something that I really love about my job is the wide variety in quilts that I am able to custom machine quilt for so many amazing people! Sabrina made this stunning Harry Potter quilt and I was able to bring it to life with some custom machine quilting for her. I don't personally know a lot about Harry Potter, don't judge me too harshly, but I did learn so much while I was machine quilting this quilt. While I was machine quilting this beautiful quilt I did record some videos, today on YouTube
Over the years I've machine qulited several quilts for her and they've all been fabulous, but for some reason there just hasn't ever been the perfect quilt for some feather work, until now! This is MaryAnn's quilt before I did any machine quilting , just a blank slate with a bunch of negative space, or in my mind, a whole bunch of room to play! I did go through and mark some reference lines before I began my machine quilting and then went to town on it with some ruler work, of course with my 4-N-1 Machine Quitling Ruler and some feathers. This beautiful quilt is another one of these special quils made by Paula and I had a lot of fun machine quilting this one!
