The summer heat isn't even a joke at this point. The heat is unbearable, I could almost drown myself in tubs of ice cream and carry the AC with me where ever I go

I can't believe I almost went a full year (again) of not posting anything on my blog. I feel like the easiest way to get past my inconsistency is to blame it on school, but I'm inconsistent there too, so what's the point

But now that I'm a senior in high school who constantly has requirements to submit, deadlines to beat, frequent all- nighters, and not to mention pressure on college applications, I feel a bit weighed down. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I guess its because turning 18 means a lot of things I know I'm not the only one who's intimidated and scared at the thought of becoming an adult. I'm not being forced into adulthood unlike other teenagers, but why does it still feel like I'm being pushed out of a plane without a parachute?

Here's a quick little style steal of Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's. For this super last minute costume for our Acquaintance Party (theme was Fictional Characters), I decided to channel my inner Holly Golightly because 1) although her style is classy, its also really easy to replicate, and 2) I wanted to look like Audrey Hepburn even if its just for the night (Because, come on! Holly's famous outfit at the opening scene of Breakfast at Tiffany's consisted of really classy pieces. I was also on the fence about going as Holly Golightly since I was afraid nobody would know who I was.
