While Airbnb offers dozens of exciting experiences all around South Korea, here are Top 20 most popular experiences that you too can enjoy (just don’t forget your mask, bring a camera and enjoy an opportunity to meet like-minded people!) A great way to experience the unique culture of K-Pop in South Korea. it was our favorite experience in Seoul and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Korea who is looking for an exciting adventure and beautiful views of the Han River. South Korean Airbnb experiences have definitely grown over the years, check out this older blog post with some oldies by goodies (when experiences were just taking off and the only available city for them was in the capital).
In honor of the International Women’s Day on March 8 and Women’s History Month designated for March, it is only suitable to highlight my latest reading list of great books that celebrate women, are written by women, or feature inspiring women that I’ve covered in my leisure. By The Book’ podcast #instead of reading 50 self-help books, read this one instead When most of us just read a self-help book and quickly forget most of the lessons taught, two authors of this book actually took the time to apply the lessons to their lives (for 2 weeks per book). Till then, this beautifully written story of segregation in Jackson, Mississippi in the 1960s has become an Academy Award-Winning Film, New York Times Bestseller, and nominated as one of America’s best-loved novels by PBS. #will question your need to have a college degree #from rags to riches story of a self made woman Another great book that celebrates women is an unbelievable but true story of Sophia Amoruso’s trajectory from being a broke, uninsured, and directionless twenty-something to finding her calling in selling vintage clothing first on eBay and eventually growing her own brand and company and becoming a self-made success and a cultural icon.
If you’re not placing much weight on the front leg, it also appears slimmer and you’re creating an interesting visual line from your front leg to the rest of your body. Since you’re traveling in a foreign location, look around you as you walk, look away from the camera, sway your arms naturally, or grab your hat/hair/glasses for angles and triangles (more on that later), you can also point towards something interesting (this will make the viewer of your photo always look in that direction). Personally, I almost never use LOOK AWAY FROM CAMERA POSE because in my photo albums I want to see what I looked like at that moment in time and not how my back/ass looked. Years from now I want to see my face in photo albums or my blog posts or my printed images and know that it was ME in the picture and how I looked (not my back or my bum) at that moment in time.
‘alleyways’ in Jeju dialect, and Jeju Olle Foundation constructed the Jeju Olle Trails back in 2007 in order to motivate locals and visitors to sightsee Jeju’s less famed paths, which surround the island as well as go inland. All in all, there are 26 routes, five of which are sub-trails (1-1, 7-1, 10-1, 14-1, and 18-1), creating a linked network of 425 km (264 miles). During our previous trip, my husband Garrett and I were able to complete Jeju Olle Trail #14-1, #16, #6 feel free to check them out too. We got to meditate, learn about various types of meditation, drink tea, eat vegetarian-based dishes, learn about Buddhism, learn about Monk’s life, learn to make a Korean traditional paper lantern, learn to bow, hike around the temple, sightsee around the temple and others.
