Reliefband Review- A Wearable Band that Prevents Motion Sickness and Nausea

Attention all travelers that suffer from motion sickness! Reliefband is a comfortable, non-prescription band that combats nausea and motion sickness. This band is a game-changer for people like me that are awfully prone to motion sickness and have tried every over-the-counter medication and every trick in the book to beat the nauseousness with no relief

Mayan Ruins, Crocodiles, and a Beautiful Beach - A Day at Punta Sur Eco Beach Park in Cozumel

Cozumel is a small island of absolute paradise off the coast of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. If you’ve ever enjoyed a Caribbean cruise, there’s a good chance you’ve visited Cozumel as just about every cruise ship stops at this port

Zoe Bands- Bracelets with a Mission

We love to see unique ways to help others, special ways to spread awareness of those that need assistance, so we were thrilled to learn about Zoe Bands from When We Band Together. Founded by Zoe and Xander, a married couple that went searching for a wedding venue in Greece, but found a cause to support, the Zoe Bands were created to help the millions of refugees fleeing to Greece because of war in Syria. Made from life vests worn by the refugees, the bracelets are a way to upcycle the many vests littering the beaches and to effectively tell the story of people in need, help displaced children, and employ local seamstresses. : The Mississippi Hills Heritage and Cultural Center: 5 Reasons to Visit Local Museums, Cultural Centers, and Tourist Sites By taking items that are littering Greece’s beaches and turning them into bracelets, Zoe and Xander are allowing these strips of fabric to tell the story of these Syrian refugees, cleaning up beaches, and employing local seamstresses in Lesvos, Greece.

A Review of the Sunjack Portable Solar Charger from The Grommet

We were contacted by The Grommet to try out one of their really cool products, the Sunjack 14 watt solar charger and all of the energy independence it brings! Often, power plugs are scarce in cruise ship cabins, so a charger that can get its power from the sun is a fantastic option to charge up that phone or tablet. Note that the solar panel has writing on it that says avoid windows, but The Grommet website, Sunjack website, and the box it came in all show the panel being used on a car dashboard, so I’m not sure why you should avoid windows. The solar charger would also be great for camping, hiking, or even a beach trip where you would be away from traditional power for an extended period of time.
