So far all I’ve done is decide on a tentative wedding date, Pinterest boards, tentative guest list, and a theme I’m in love with. We attended a Wedding Expo in our area and learned a lot as well as got to see various vendors. Brian and I decided to look into hiring a wedding planner to guide us through the process as well as help us work with reliable vendors. I sent out an email to a prospected wedding planner we met at the wedding expo.

I was inspired by Aileen from on YouTube to take on this challenge, known as, Get Your Life Together Challenge ( GYLT Challenge ). I loved how she broke down specific things she wanted to work on and spread them out over the course of 8 weeks. I feel like there’s a lot of videos and blogs that shove a bunch of “how to get your life together” tips and advice in one post, which makes me feel like I have to tackle all those things at once. If not all the weeks work for you or is something you want to focus on, feel free to change it up.

For 2019, I want to put a focus back on my health and fitness. I binged on things I cut down on, I didn’t restrict myself and I went on less walks and went to the gym less. Recently I picked up a fitness/food log planner from Happy Planner. I couldn’t find the exact planner, but they did have refills online so if you already have the rings/extra rings, you can easily just create your own!

I’ve got so many things I want to – and need to – accomplish this year. I think this blog would be a great place to showcase that and experiment to find my own personal style – something I think I’ve slowly figured out a little in 2018. I want to be able to document and share the process with all of you as I figured out this whole “wedding planning” thing. We got engaged in May, and I’ve just been basking in being his fiance for the rest of the year.
