PROJECTXYZ CEO RECEIVES UAH FELLOWSHIP APPOINTMENT

This distinction is granted each year to the winner of the Russell G. Brown Executive Leadership Award presented at the Small Business Awards event hosted by the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce. An award winning small business, PROJECTXYZ is a recipient of the US Chamber of Commerce Dream Big Blue Ribbon award, a four time recipient of the Inc. 5,000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the US, a recipient of the Department of Defense (DoD) Nunn Perry Mentor Protégé award, and a past recipient of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award. As a role model, leader, and community advocate, Ms. Lewis serves on numerous boards and actively supports non-profit and business organizations to include HEALS, Inc., Women’s Economic Development Council (WEDC), the National Children’s Advocacy Center, Huntsville Association of Small Businesses in Advanced Technology (HASBAT), Women in Defense (WID), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and the North Alabama International Trade Association (NAITA).

PROJECTXYZ Inc. CEO Receives Leadership Award

PROJECTXYZ CEO Kimberly C. Lewis was selected as a recipient of the Russell G. Brown Executive Leadership Award and was among the honorees highlighted during the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce  35th Annual Small Business Awards held October 20, 2020. Lewis was selected by an independent panel of judges among a pool of 25 nominees and tied to share the award with Sandra Cepeda, CEO of Cepeda Software Systems. Together, we all share a common  passion and responsibility to actively encourage, mentor, and support the next generation of leaders, said Lewis.”Named in honor of  the late Russell G. Brown, the Executive Leadership Award is presented annually by the Chamber to an area business leader that exemplifies the qualities, character, visionary leadership abilities, and innovation that Mr. Brown exemplified. As a community  and business leader, Mr. Brown was co-founder of Huntsville-based DP Associates, a former Chairperson at the Chamber, and the first recipient of the Chamber’s  Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1986.

PROJECTXYZ Inc. Acquires CBC INGS America LLC in Muscle Shoals

PROJECTXYZ, Inc. has announced the acquisition of CBC INGS America, LLC, a company providing plastic injection molding components with secondary highly specialized metal deposition and optical deposition finishing for the automotive industry. Owners Kim and Larry Lewis plan to retain the existing workforce of 100+ employees and purchased the 68,000 square ft. manufacturing facility, warehouse, and state of the art equipment to expand and complement their products, services, and warehousing capabilities. We were contacted by the Shoals Economic Development Authority (SEDA) about the opportunity and partnership to help save jobs for the Shoals area. The Shoals Economic Development Authority (SEDA) is a professional organization dedicated to economic development in Northwest Alabama, including Lauderdale and Colbert Counties.
