💙💜💙 I had such a magical time as the keynote speaker for the @dow_usgc Louisiana Girls in STEM event, pouring into over 350 6th grade innovators, future engineers, and leaders of the Iberville Parish School District! I titled the keynote "I'm that girl" and finished with affirmations that the girls repeated, because they are truly THAT girl! After the event, one of the organizers told me that all the girls really enjoyed the keynote and were saying "I'm that girl" throughout the day! This was such a fulfilling experience, and I'm looking forward to continuing to cheer them on!

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to be part of the Black History Program at Live Oak Elementary School! I had the honor of sharing the stage with my soror and mistress of ceremony - Paquita Benoit, my business bestie @chantellzenon - author of "It's Just Hair," and Dominique Hawthorne - author of "Alphabet Writing through Scriptures". We had an incredible time reading and sharing our stories with the students, celebrating the rich history and achievements of Black individuals. It was inspiring to see the students so engaged and eager to learn. Thank you to Live Oak Elementary for having us!

As we step into another year, I'm feeling incredibly grateful for where 2023 has led me.
