Lessons on the Road

Last year I had some hypochondria issues I worked through, and I’m so proud of the way I continued to enjoy my time at camp and move on. I’m honestly so thankful to have such a loving family, and these little holidays mean the world to me; even though every day is Father’s Day. I’ll admit that no time is an easy time to say that, but after this story I’m convinced some times are clearly 1000% worse than others. Next time someone asks what I’m looking for, it’s just someone who is honest with me and honest with themselves.

Finding the Fun; Improving with Improv

It’s so easy to get caught up in the stressors of work and dating (a lot in that second one, might I add), and I originally found myself needing a new focus. I’ve found that many people take improv classes to become more outgoing, to be more confident, and to work on public speaking to name a few. For me, improv has truly been a haven to make new friends, new memories, and straight up laugh and have fun. Improv is for everyone, I truly truly believe that and hope I can encourage at least one person reading this to sign up for a class.

Keeping Up

I remember posting my lasts blog post, “23 Things I Realized at 23” and feeling so empowered, inspired, and ready to keep sharing thoughts. Then the next month came around and I was filled with home travels, family adventures, and gearing up for the next year. Maybe the silver lining is that I was so wrapped up in saying yes to adventures, working on myself, and just straight up living that I didn’t pause to write it all out. before October 2017 😉 I’m about to enter a quarter century of my life, I’m going on two years at my job (Manager life, what’s up! )

23 Things I Realized at 23

Now in my first month of being 24 ~happy belated birthday to me~,  I can’t help but think about all that I realized in my 23rd year. Loving someone doesn’t make them love you back Tough lesson, right? You don’t realize how strong you are until it is your only choice Our minds can quickly enter  fight or flight mode, and it’s really empowering to find that strength when you need it most. Passion for your work is key to success Find work that you are passionate about, and find your place to make positive change.
