Following the review of the Pat McGrath Bronze Seduction Palette which has just been restocked, here is another post for a stunning eyeshadow palette that I acquired recently – the Charlotte Tilbury Supersonic Girl Eyeshadow Palette Holiday 2018 (Limited edition). Her beauty line is becoming a cult beauty brand lately with many of her limited edition products literally sold out within days. As for me, I prefer the dabbing method for the sparkly colors just on to the center of the lid to avoid the fallout.
It is the time of the year that Tom Ford has released another set of new boys and girls lip colors! If you have seen my lipstick posts over the past year, you would know I’m going through this crazy brick red lip color phase which I am still obsessed with. Depending on how intense you want to wear it – as a sheer layer would make it a lovely MLBB with a hint of rosy brown tone, but an opaque layer would add more reddish brown tone to it. Her previous releases didn’t interest me as much until the latest Pat McGrath Mothership V Bronze Seduction Palette was out. If you are outside of the US, you can only buy the palette on her website and they have recently halved the international shipping fee (which is a bonus for me because I hate to pay for shipping and I would only do it for Pat McGrath lol)! The palette has 10 richly-pigmented eyeshadows with a mixture of matte, shimmer and sparkly finishes that are absolutely gorgeous and also wear beautifully on the eyes for all skin tones. All shades have intense color pay off with creamy and soft texture and there is no fall out from the glittery shades when applied (I normally just pat them on with my fingers).
It blends onto the skin seamlessly just with your fingers and leaves a natural second-skin like glow. One thing worth mentioning is that it feels very comfortable on the skin (almost like applying a skincare lotion) and you actually don’t even feel like you are wearing makeup with this foundation. I recently added the Urban Decay Setting Spray (which I can no longer live without) to my routine and it makes a whole world of difference to your makeup. On a normal day where I spend 8 hours in the office and 1- hour gym session, my makeup still looks quite fresh and glowy over time with no oxidation.
