Darkblade Systems continues to grow its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Registered Practitioner (RP) teams in preparation to perform CMMC pre-assessment and consultation work as an approved CMMC Registered Provider Organization (RPO). The CMMC-AB recently certified Darkblade Systems as an official Registered Provider Organization, paving the way for our company to provide in-depth CMMC pre-assessment and consultation services, to prepare Defense Industrial Base The Darkblade Systems team has created tailored programs that are affordable for small businesses to help meet government contract requirements. Among other compliance metrics, we can help create System Security Plans (SSP), required Plan-of-Action & Milestones (PO&AM) documents, and provide a granular roadmap to success that includes the required artifacts and evidence for CMMC compliance and to meet your company’s government contract obligations.
In 2020, the Department of Defense released the initial version of the CMMC standard, with the requirement that all companies conducting business with the US Government must be CMMC certified at the appropriate level. Darkblade Systems is proud to announce that we have been approved as an official Registered Provider Organization (RPO) by the CMMC Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB) for consulting services to help customers prepare for CMMC Certification. Our team will perform a detailed assessment of the current environment and compare it with the cybersecurity controls required for the required CMMC level. Among other compliance metrics, we can help create System Security Plans (SSP), required Plan-of-Action & Milestones (PO&AM) documents, and provide a granular roadmap to success that includes the required artifacts and evidence for CMMC.
The CMMC combines cybersecurity standards and best practices, then maps these controls and processes across several maturity levels that range from basic to advanced cyber hygiene. Provisional Assessors on staff, as well as Registered Practitioners and has applied to be both a CMMC Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO) and a Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO). Beginning in first quarter CY2021, Darkblade Systems will begin providing consulting services for NIST and CMMC compliance readiness and pre-assessment services for CMMC Maturity Levels 1 through 3. Once the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center (DIBCAC) reviews Darkblade Systems for its C3PAO certification, our team will begin conducting official assessments in support of the Cyber Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.
