He took inspiration from something simple, the glamour and elegance of a woman in a rush (which sounds like myself, The concept of a traveling fashionista wasn’t very hard to see, the models had boarding tags in their hair and on their clothes. The hair and makeup did not go unnoticed, the amazing Eugene Souleiman and the legendary Pat McGrath stood behind the creative and fun looks. Seeing sneakers at a couture show isn’t something you usually witness, but doing so was refreshing and if someone could pull it off, it would be the great John Galliano.

The Valentino Spring 2018 couture show, was what I expected from the brand times a million! The volume, feathers, colors and dreamy headpieces by Philip Treacy paired with cool slacks blew my mind. Pierpaolo Piccioli mixed cool and romantic, an unusual but refreshing take for couture. This collection cements the designer as one of the most capable couturiers and his vision is clearer than ever for Valentino.
