Healthy Snack Ideas For Toddlers

There are days where I’ll spend the extra time homemaking granola/breakfast bars or three ingredient muffins and other days where I’ll buy cheese snacks in a bag for an on the go quick fix, it all depends on the day! * Swap sauces and spreads for ones made from scratch * Only eat out twice on the weekends * Make 1 homemade snack to last us throughout the week * 3 ingredient cookies: Mix 1 cup quick oats, 1 super ripe banana, handful of raisins – bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes * Prepackaged snacks for days where we’re rushed * Veggies (carrots, celery, cucumber, bell pepper) with homemade sauce: mayo, plain yogurt, olive oil, garlic powder, salt/pepper, lemon, mustard (recipe under my Instagram highlights labeled‘low carb’)

HOW I GOT OUT OF A RUT

I’ve only ever found myself in a real rut two times in my life. Although I loved the people I worked with, the work itself wasn’t fulfilling and after a few months I yearned to find something that would make me money that I was passionate about – hence Youtube! I think it was just a combination of becoming a mom to two girls and having that huge life change. ’s ear off almost daily because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep doing Youtube or if I’d ever get out of this rut.

Tips For Keeping Tidy As A Busy Mom

As much as I don’t like to admit it, waking up to a messy living space makes doing any task feel that much more overwhelming as I have to spend an extra 20+ minutes cleaning before even starting the task! Besides having more time to pursue my passions, creating connections and lasting memories in my home matter most to me and by forming daily habits with products that make it easier to clean will help Doug and I enjoy the little moments that matter most. I don’t always set a timer, but sometimes when I’m tired from wrangling the babies and just want to go to sleep the timer reminds me that it only takes a few minutes to set my morning off right! When I’m really on top of my Mom game, I’ll pack lunch and/or snacks for the next day’s park trip.
