The premise: A team of bounty hunters (aka Killjoys) -- Dutch, D'avin and John -- must carry out warrants to apprehend and/or kill fugitives on behalf of their clients, while trying to avoid getting drawn into conflicts that could break out in a dangerous sector of the galaxy known as the Quad. : The production values are good, and while no one should be expecting any Canadian-produced TV series to match the budgets of 22-episode series on the big U.S. networks, it still has a bit of a "made-in-Toronto" vibe to it: the non-descript, empty warehouses, industrial parks and anonymous suburban green spaces. Captain America and Iron Man bear the lion's share of the soapbox stumping in the story and there were times I found myself agreeing with both of them.is an action-adventure tale -- but it is also a good fable.
