We use a lot of essential oils in our home. Mainly we diffuse various blends because they smell amazing! During cold and flu season we use a couple specific blends that I make myself, so I thought I would share those with you today
It simply means that we let go of the image or even the idea of “perfection” and recognize that it doesn’t exist. We recognize that often it’s in the absence of perfection is where true humanity lives. this imperfection, I also have to just try my best to become better instead of the constant yelling at myself or frustration with not knowing how to just step outside of this part of myself and suddenly know what to do (because, that’s where the biggest issue is The answer my friends is that it doesn’t look like anything, because it doesn’t exist.
We are the ones who think we aren’t worthy. We can try, and I don’t think that’s such a terrible thing. This doesn’t mean we don’t try to be better, that we don’t live our lives as Christ-like as possible. Bible Road Trip was the first (and to date, the only) Bible curriculum I found offering a complete journey through the Bible in 3 years. The Researching the Word books used with the curriculum are exactly what I was looking for in resources for my kiddos to get a far deeper understanding of the background of each part of the Bible in addition to the While this curriculum is clearly broken down into levels, I honestly think it’s a matter of choice for you as the parent to find the right fit for your family and your children. I’ll explain in the next section what my long-term plan is involving Bible in general, and this curriculum specifically, but for now suffice it to say that if you can go through the curriculum one time in Upper Grammar (4th – 6th… or in my case 5th – 7th) using 66 Books one Story then a second trip through in Rhetoric (7th-9th… or again, in my case 8th-10th) using The Baker Illustrated Bible Handbook, you’ll have given your children an incomparable foundation. Yearly Curriculum (Especially: Researching the Word, Reading the Word, Memorizing the Word, Praying About the Word) Notebooking Pages (you’ll have to print these out… not all children work well with them… etc)
