and when it comes to luxury items, i usually scour the end-of-season sales and places like yoox, the outnet, and designer resale sites. over the last few months, i’ve noticed a few holes in my wardrobe so naturally sale season is the perfect time to fill them, or try that trend you’ve been thinking about (like boiler suits). for those trips back east and to wine country, a crisp white mini dress and a subtly sexy one piece swimsuit (the latter could be worn as a bodysuit and both are under $30) will get a lot of wear. the only bag i’ve bought is a white belt bag from one my favorite local brands, future glory.
the funny thing is i love to wear them more during the day than at night (like this look and this one). so when i’m searching for sequin pieces, i’m always looking for ones that are uber-versatile. the gap modern tee has been a favorite for years because of the flattering sleeves, longer length (for tucking into high waist pants and skirts), and a higher neckline… asos sequin top, gap modern t-shirt, re/done x levi’s jeans, manolo blahnik pumps, super sunglasses, argento vivo earrings, future glory clutch (custom, other marbled bags here and here)
i picked up this stunning zimmerman shirt back in february at an event hosted by alicia. it’s kind of perfect for the weather here; it’s slightly sheer but has long sleeves and high neck for those chilly evenings. (i prefer the 100% cotton ones; i buy them tight and then they mold to my body) and the best consignment score ever, the céline bam bam sandal (brand new in box for 75% off! from cris consignment). zimmerman blouse (on sale! ), levi’s jeans, céline sandals (pre-loved here and higher heel option) and earrings, clare v. clutch (no longer made, but love this and this), oliver peoples sunglasses
this jacquemus shirt was one of my favorite recent sale purchases, so why not double down on the dots by adding polka dot pants in a contrasting color. i found these at new york and company while on a shopping trip back on the east coast (gotta love those suburban malls! ). unfortunately there are limited sizes available online, but i found a bunch of other polka dot pieces across a range of styles and price points. jacquemus shirt (previously seen here, also love this one), new york and company pants, manolo blahnik pumps, chanel wallet on chain, super sunglasses, h&m earrings also a quick p.s.
