Farewell To Summer Smoothie Bowl: Two Ways

A farewell with a few Smoothie bowl recipes inspired by two places I’ve been missing lately! So, I’ve partnered with Odwalla® to bring you my Thailand Smoothie Bowl and my Mexico Smoothie Bowl. And I love that I can find everything I need easily, like my Odwalla® fix. Either you can freeze your Odwalla® Mango Tango® and then just blend it with a few ice cubes (this is what I did) or you can just blend it as is with some frozen mango slices!

DIY Celestial Hair Pin For The Frequent Flier

For this post I teamed up with Schwarzkopf Color ULTÎME® to show you how I made this sweet celestial hair pin and how I keep, at least my hair looking fresh while I travel. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to dye my hair only to find that I get some washed out version of what’s on the box. If you’re like me and you look like your covered in bruises after dying your own hair (I’m not careful where the dye gets… it literally looked like my neck was covered in bruises from being choked out) Then, you’re going to add random “loops” by grabbing the wire with your pliers and twisting it around the pliers like I am in the above photo.

Do You Really Need Travel Insurance?

I was never the type of person who purchased travel insurance, the way I saw it the odds of something happening that would cause me to need travel insurance were slim to none. But when I decided to head to Thailand for two months with my sister and all of my camera and blogger gear I thought, you know what – maybe I’ll take a look. We chose the Classic Plan (now called OneTrip Prime Plan) and I felt the coverage amounts were suitable in case anything did happen luggage-wise, emergency-wise, or medically. At Our Trip’s Coverages: (keep in mind these are based off length of trip, cost of trip, etc.)

Stopover: Panviman Resort in Chiang Mai

It’s about an hour drive from the Chiang Mai airport, despite only being about 23 miles but it is so worth a visit if you’re staying in Chiang Mai. It’s so large, in fact, that hotel staff drive around the property all day in golf carts to pick up walking guests who might want a lift. There’s all kind of breakfast meats, eggs and pancakes to order, cereal, fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh juices, there’s literally something for everyone. It’s not only a beautiful spot (with obvious Panoramic views of the property and surrounding mountains) to have a nice dinner but they also provide killer room service.
