It's always so much fun doing this for their birthdays! There's truly so many things we can reuse cardboard boxes! I love finding ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle! Back at it!!! I've had 2 kids and "bounced back" but it definitely hasn't been the kind of bounce back that I want. I've been slowly starting, but I'm back with a fitness habit and a goal! With 2 BIG kids (60 lbs of kids) under 3 you'd think I'd be ripped, but no. If you follow me on twitter, you know my family is transitioning to vegan, so this is just another step in our wellness journey. To be our best parent selves we have to make sure we're our healthiest self inside and out. Due to COVID-19 I've been working out at home and I've realized something. The best AND worst part about working out at home is the kids. Need more weight? Pick one up! But if you're doing planks??? Better make them quick before one "Yee Haws" you into a pony ride! It is great getting my boys into healthy living early on so we can make it a fun family thing and I'd never trade that. Thanks to @bodyrockofficial & @bulldogyoga I'm more confident in my health and strength journey than ever!

Over the weekend, our youngest celebrated his 1st Juneteenth Birthday! It's been incredible watching you grow and you and your brother grow together over the last year. You are so funny and I could watch you both play all day. You might be the biggest character of us all!!! You're going to walk ANY DAY. You are saying so much I can't believe it. How blessed we are with a supportive village to help raise these boys. Day 2*I had to take a slight intermission bc I ran out of hair product until yesterday 😅 🌿I attempted this one and truly I once I get more practice this will look better! I'm not truly sure how to take care of my hair or what products are good for it. I went natural years ago, but have just recently started learning how to actually care for my hair and style it. I've been scared honestly. It's so awkward never knowing how to do your hair and then here you are mid twenties and still don't. With 3 hairstyles. Day 1! If you don't keep your hair trimmed up, it won't grow! Cut around 2/2.5 inches off all around, but it feels so much better!! Mom & Dad❣️ —Oh how far we’ve come. The Martin to my Gina, the Oscar to my Trudy. How cool is it to have someone who inspires you to be better! Someone who makes your dreams even bigger than they already are. How cool is it to have someone who helps you grow and grows with you? How cool is it to raise your kids with someone you can call your best friend?? Forever thankful for you.

So we’re about a month into cloth diapering & I can honestly say it’s changed my life! Now, I’m not claiming it was/is an easy transition, because we’re still learning, but I’m so happy! In my mind there’s no difference between wiping their butts and spraying the diapers. We have a splatter shield that’s incredible & our @smarterfresh sprayer is a god send! Just going from buying diapers every few days to every couple weeks if that, amazing. I was so nervous at first because of all the steps, but truly there aren’t that many more to make a difference & it’s only like 2 extra washes of laundry since I line dry them. Overall, 10/10 would definitely recommend.
