Maggie’s been living in this sweet little room for two and a half years now, and even when we redecorated with her big kid bed, it still felt unfinished to me. I love doing crafts with my kids (and they love it too), but I don’t love making things with them that we then just throw away. I also don’t love helping them make things that are – don’t get upset with me for saying this – ugly

I’m not exactly sure why, but for some reason it’s in my DNA to believe that every Easter celebration should involve Jello. I’m guessing it’s because my mom used to make legit Jello eggs every Easter — as in, she would hollow out actual eggs, wash the insides, and fill them with Jello
