You won’t believe how these healthy ingredients come together to make a bruschetta flavored vegan cheese ball. From my vegan cheese dips to my vegan cheese sauces, I am no beginner when it comes to all things creamy and delicious. So when it came to making a vegan cheese ball, bruschetta was my go to. Once your vegan cheese ball is all done, you can serve it with crackers, fresh veggies, or even just spread it on your tongue and cut out the middle man.
I have other recipes on this site that we love as a bolognese substitute, but I wanted a true authentic, but vegan, “meat” sauce in my back pocket. The sauce itself is actually a meat sauce with a touch of tomato, versus a tomato sauce with some meat as we typically know it to be here. This helps give some of the meaty flavor because when you brown meat for traditional bolognese, you get brown bits on the bottom of the pan. As much as I love a quick meal, a true classic bolognese, that can now be enjoyed with whole food vegan ingredients, just can’t be beat!
I love soup and all, but often times I feel like I need something with a little chew. So we remember that there is a package of smoky tempeh in the fridge (I like this one), and of course we have apples and arugula because all things fall right now. And then all we need to match the flavors of smoky tempeh, sweet apples and spicy arugula is some Caramelized Onion Aioli. If you have all these things (or you are smart enough to plan and get them prepped the day before), then making this tempeh sandwich goes a little something like this: Smooth aioli on bread, divide ingredients between bread slices and serve sandwich.
