many romantic activities couples can enjoy in Maui, such as watching sunrise from the top of a volcano, hiking, driving through Road to Hana, visiting pineapple farms, swim with turtles, whale watching, spas, wine tasting, try local cuisine (fine dining or road side shacks), or simply do nothing and enjoy the white sand beach. – Road to Hana Day 4 – Iao Valley & Farm Tours Day 5 – Snorkeling Adventure and Beach Hopping Po’olenalena Beach: not too far from Makena Beach near Wailea, this beach used to be known only to locals. The only drawback of Hotel Wailea is that it’s not right next to the beach, but the hotel offers several Tesla to drive you to and from the beach (they have a designated area on the Wailea beach
When I finally parked in the parking lot, I started looking around to see if I could even see any other path leading away from the parking lot The hikes around the peaks are easy (if you do the day hike) and this is why the Tre Cime di Lavaredo hike is the most popular and crowded hike in the Dolomites. After the third and the most famous Rifugio, Rifugio Locatelli (it’s white and red in appearance), you can follow the sign for path 102 then path 105 and go around the peaks to complete the loop. Many people either hike to the view point (the hill after Rifugio Lavaredo) or to Rifugio Locatelli (the one with the best view) before heading back the same way.
The Dolomites is full of beautiful photo spots and a couple of the best photo spots is the Santa Maddalena Church and the St. Johann Church. However after visiting Santa Maddalena and Ranui I wish I had brought an super zoom lens instead since the churches were actually pretty far from where I was taking the photo (Instagram did not warn me enough!). How To Find the Santa Maddalena Church I had done a few internet research before visiting in order to find THE view point for Santa Maddalena Church It is easy to visit San Giovanni Church since it’s literally a 5-10 minute drive from St. Magdalena (or you can even walk 15-20 minutes from St. Maddalena).
The entire Funchal cable car ride takes about 20 minutes each way with 3200 meters of cable and the view is amazing when you roam above the orange rooftops with the view of the deep blue sea. There is a large paid parking structure (with multiple levels) right next to the Madeira Cable Car station in Funchal so you can leave your car there all day while you explore what’s up in Monte. : PR1 Pico do Arieiro Hike & PR11: Balcoes de Ribeiro Frio Day 3 will be another full day of hiking and it will be a relatively packed day. If you are wondering how to get a taxi for the one way hike or simply want to read more about the PR1 hike you should check out my blog on hiking from Pico do Arieiro to Pico Ruivo on PR1 trail.
