It all began in February you see, with beautiful scrumptious days of rain droplets and sun that lead to a carpet of green covering the entire country house ground. And so, all the stone fruit tree blossoms unfurled. And the peach blossoms, I love them so. And so, just like that, spring has begun in the land of sun.
Beautiful diffused grey light makes me feel like I'm having déjà vu. Then I remember, it's the February light. And so, I embrace these sort of quiet winter days and their beautiful light. It's a cold week here, with a winter weather storm warning even.
But only because over 20 years ago I decided that Valentine's day is a me day. That's the one thing I've always loved about our yearly tea parties, it's that setting them up and taking pictures of them really immerses you in the moment. The way to love your life is to love the good and the bad. The way to love yourself is to love the good and the bad.
