How to Handle Thin, Fine Hair

Once I accepted that my hair wasn’t magically going to get thicker, I started working towards improving it myself and realized thin hair wasn’t so difficult. Here are some tips and tricks that I LIVE BY when it comes to handling thin hair… Don’t wash your hair every day. Pro tip: even if your hair isn’t greasy, use dry shampoo as a quick volumizing spray. Lastly, there are plenty of great products to add volume to thin hair.

Pretty in Patterns: Summer Style

I thought I’d do a quick little post about my favorite summer style trend: Patterns. This pattern is almost a reverse floral pattern. It’s a really cool take on the common floral print and adds an instant little bit of class. Typically for the summer I stick to brighter colors, but on flashy clothing styles I think a subtle pattern is the perfect compliment.

Testing Winged Eyeliner Hacks for Dummies

For this hack you need a spoon, and you pretty much use that spoon as a stencil for the edges of your wing. You use the handle of the spoon to stencil the bottom of your wing, and then use the spoon part to stencil the line and curve of the wing. The liquid liner got under the spoon and made an uneven line for the wing, and then the curve on the top wasn’t thick enough so you could barely see it. For this hack, you cut your own stencil into a stick piece of paper (I just made a small triangle cut) and then just hold it up to your face where you want your wing.

Creative Gifts to Surprise Your Mom with this Mother’s Day

If you don’t want to put things on a stick, just fill the mug with some of her favorite snacks! If you know what she likes and what look she’s going for, I think cute sign with a meaningful quote that she can display in her home would be perfect. You don’t have to spend a ton of money either, just include a bunch of fun little things that you know your mom loves. If you can’t decide on something to get your mom or you don’t have a lot of money to spend, consider making her a nice home-cooked meal and cleaning the house for her.
