The shade I used for today's nail of the day is Scarlett Red, I have two different ways of wearing it to share with you today, which you will hopefully like, and hopefully you will also be able to tell my nails have grown a bit. For today's NOTD, I used the Sensationail shade Scarlett Red and applied two coats, it is a lovely red and the shine is absolutely perfect. Along with wearing the Scarlett Red on it's own, I also like to wear an accent nail, and love to either add a glittery top coat or a full silver sparkly accent nail. it is so easy to use and my nails look lovely, and it saves money too, a gel manicure at a salon is around £30 but a bottle of Sensationail polish is £15.00 (currently buy one get one half price) in Boots or £12.50 on the Sensationail website (some polishes 20% off at the moment) and they last such a long time, for example, the Scarlett Red shade used in this post, is the same bottle of polish I got in my starter kit and there is still some left, it isn't a full size bottle either, so that shows just how long they last.
So when the girls at Go Get Glitter created two new limited edition Impulse body mists, Coconut Spritz + Glitter Bomb and Melted Candy + Unicorn Dust, transforming the bottles with body art glitter style packaging, I was very excited to try them both. As with the Coconut Spritz + Glitter Bomb, the Melted Candy + Unicorn Dust body spray has lovely packaging, the rainbow dripped effect with glitter is so pretty and perfect for any unicorn lover, or anyone who's a sucker for nice packaging, aka me. This scent is described as a playful fragrance bringing to life dripping candy, fresh vanilla and a hint of something magical, and completely agree it is very sweet and has a hint of candy floss scent, if you like sweet scents you will love this. but if you like a sweet scent, you will love it, if like me you prefer more summer holiday type scents, the Coconut Spritz + Glitter Bomb will be more your taste, but both smell lovely and combined with the pretty, sparkly packaging, they both make ideal stocking fillers, secret Santa gifts or as a treat for yourself.
In my experience males are extremely hard to buy for when it comes to gift giving, whether it's my partner, my dad, teenage nephew or godsons, I always struggle and I find teenagers and young men especially hard to buy for. When 31st State founder Stephanie Capuano's sons started to have problems with their skin, she did what most of us do and googled the best skin care for teenage boys, but after searching online and on the high street for both budget and high end brands, she couldn't find what she was looking for, which was skincare without harsh chemicals added, and products her sons would use. All the products in the 31st State Starter Set smell amazing, and I think this would make an ideal Christmas gift, the bag is great and a great size. If you would like to try the 31st State products, or gift sets including the Starter Set, you can find all the information you need on the 31st State website.
