We are so excited to participate with Jazz Diego at the Chula Vista Yacht Club as the wine tasting host this year Jazz Concert Series, promoted by Mojito Jazz Radio. Pair Patrick Yandall fabulous music with a Wine Tasting that will alert all your senses and  discover your next favorite wine being produced just 2 hours south of the border at Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California. Concert tickets are $20 dlls, and the Wine Tasting ticket is $12 dlls. Father Junipero Serra planted vines next to California’s very first mission, Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala back in 1769.The vast wine region in San Diego has vineyard and wineries located all around the county. There is handful of wineries along Highway 94, about 2 dozens in Ramona, the San Pasqual Valley of Escondido is home to another 20, some more in Warner Springs and Julian and the 14 Urban wineries at our beach towns, industrial warehouses and city neighborhoods. We will visit 3 wineries, Granite Lion Cellars tucked in Jamul surrounded by it’s beautiful vineyards, picnic area with generous shadows of big oak trees and a serene waterfall that ends in a creek that travels right through it. Further inland we will stop at Deerhorn Vineyards and end with a visit to Dulzura Vineyards & Winery, where we will enjoy a light lunch at their picnic area overlooking the vines.

You will find a great opportunity to  learn more about the people involved in spreading the wine culture of Mexico, enjoy superb wine and food and take in beautiful sights of nature and man-made wineries, bed and breakfasts, restaurants and unique hang out spots. The women you will meet along the Tour al Valle de Guadalupe will share their stories with you while you are tasting a glass of wine of their own creation. In between visits we will enjoy lunch at one of the country restaurants or at a pop-up gourmet outdoor venue that opens during summer time, from June to September. Tour al Valle de Guadalupe includes round transportation from San Diego or Tijuana, wine tastings at each winery and a country gourmet style lunch.

As an enthusiastic ambassador for the Wine Culture in our community we organize different events in conjunction with wineries and restaurants to promote the magnificent wines being produced in San Diego County and Valle de Guadalupe.
