You helped put me back together at a time when I felt broken without the person you are named after. ⁣ ⁣ Words can’t describe how much I love you. The sweetest, smiliest, happiest little girl in the whole world. This past year hasn’t been easy, but you made it sooo much better. A surgery and full body cast didn’t stop you from bringing so much joy into this world. ⁣ ⁣ Mommy loves you so much. Happy birthday my baby girl 💛🌼

As Hudson says: Sissy got “pink pants”⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Hi friends! I’ve been quiet on here recently because we’ve had a lot going on. Little mama had surgery and got a spica cast last week. Harper was diagnosed at 2 months with hip dysplasia. She had an open reduction surgery and now she’s rocking this pink cast for a while.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ To say I’ve been overwhelmed would be an understatement. Researching, learning, preparing, buying a highchair, stroller, etc that will work with her cast. It’s been a lot, but we are making it work. I know we are so lucky to have healthy babies and it could be so much worse, but this has definitely been an adjustment.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ The night we stayed at the hospital, I truly wasn’t sure how we were going to make it through all this. Harper was so uncomfortable and it was brutal seeing my baby in pain. But things have gotten so much better. Our girl is so brave and is adjusting well. Tomorrow we find out if Harper is going to need a spica (body) cast and/or surgery for her hip dysplasia. I’ve been quite on here lately about her diagnosis...I think it’s because I’ve been in denial. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣Honestly, I’m scared. If she needs a cast, they will have to give her anesthesia. I’ve avoided researching a ton because I really don’t want to freak myself out more. For now, we are waiting to hear from the doctor and getting a second opinion. Our whole hip dysplasia journey has come with a lot of uncertainty.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I know one thing for sure: nothing can stop this girl from smiling! She is seriously the sweetest little babe and I am so beyond lucky to be her mama. Bub’s new fav word is cookie! So, this weekend called for a cookie party! Y’all, the amount of cookies Hudson ate just so I could hear him say “cooKie cooKie” 😂⁣ ⁣ In my stories over the weekend, I shared some amazing words of wisdom from @feedinglittles. Being a mama in recovery from an eating disorder can be hard for sure. I’m always worried that my relationship with food and body image struggles will impact my babies. Everyday I challenge myself to push the worries aside and be present with my babes. ⁣ ⁣ I guess what I’m saying is: Even if your struggling to accept your body, eat those cookies with your babies mama! Even if your hair is a mess and you haven’t put makeup on in days, take those pictures with your littles! Even if you’re not feeling your best right now, embrace all those little moments mama! Our babies don’t care about our appearance or how much we weigh. They love us for us! We got this mamas 💗

Y’all, I’m not gonna lie. I’ve been struggling with the comparison game lately. I see so many amazing mamas with their perfect DIY’s and homeschool setups and I get a little envious 😬 Not that I don’t LOVE seeing them!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’m usually the Pinterest worthy DIY, cooking, & scrapbooking queen 😂 But in all honestly, I just don’t have the time right now!
