A few clips from Pushing Daisies 🌼 I am so excited to share this song with you NEXT FRIDAY! It’s been a challenging year to say the least, and I found myself feeling lost a few months back. I had to step away from music to focus on my mental health and make sure I was coping with the pandemic in a healthy way. The pause was frustrating and made me feel stagnant, but it was much needed. This release is one of many, and a step back into doing what I love the most. I hope you’ll celebrate this small win with me, even if it’s from a distance as we all stay home and stay safe. I sat down with the fine folks at @soundslikenyc to discuss my journey as a musician and the upcoming release of my single ‘Pushing Daisies’. They asked how I would describe my artist persona which led to this on-air existential crisis 😂 . I would love to know your thoughts as an artist or music lover- do you find it inconsistent when an artist has multiple facets of their personality? I’ve enjoyed creating funny videos in quarantine and sharing a more honest look into my day to day life online. However, I am drawn to the weird and the wonderful when it comes to my music. Whether it’s dramatic onstage attire or a music video where I sing to a rabbit pianist, it feels like an extension of my imagination. What are your thoughts? . It’s a new year and a good time to announce a NEW SONG 💕 I wrote Pushing Daisies when I first moved to New York, and it holds a special place in my heart. It’s about understanding that your life isn’t going to look the way you might have originally planned- something I think we’ve all felt. Moving felt like a rebirth, and with that came the death of a past life. It felt right to release it now, during another fresh start. I am so excited for you to hear it, and I hope it resonates with you.
