I’ve been in my own world lately… and I’m so happy about it! Two weeks ago my sweet sisters planned a bachelorette party for me and some of my friends and it was amazing!! Like literally the best party I could have ever dreamed of having!! ❤️❤️ shout out to @mollyannesandefur and @lauraleighturner for the time and thought that went into it!! The best!! We laughed and cried and danced and played laser tag and it was perfect! Every detail thought about and curated just for me in celebration of our wedding! What I think is even cooler is that we stopped by the chapel that Kyle and I will get married in over the weekend and we got to be in a place that 42 days later I would be getting married in. What is even better is that the day I came home I entered the last 40 days of my singleness. I couldn’t help but be so thankful for the women that prayed over me and helped celebrate what was to come but ushered me into the final stretch of a time period of my life I never thought would end. I seriously have the best friends - I am so blessed!! Singleness has been a journey, and I guess it’s ironic I post about it on Valentine’s Day, but as I close this chapter I’m so thankful for it. This day always stung a bit for me because I never had “a man” to share it with (amazing what Hallmark will do to an impressionable mind) but now that I have someone I find my heart aching for those that find themselves in that stage. In fact, tonight, I gathered with women in my home, with Jesus. Friends - don’t get so caught up in life that you forget your community! I’ve learned a lot over the last 15 years in singleness but the biggest one was from God. I heard Him almost audibly tell me “I need to cultivate characteristics that draw people to Him, not men to me.” Community is so important and I will forever be thankful for this time (this very long time) that I spent in singleness learning to rely on God and learning how to bring people together and gather around the table. So thankful for friends that are generous with their time and their energy to come and celebrate me in Branson. Cyndi Lauper was right… girls just wanna have #smore fun!
Had a fantastic Galentine’s day! We all came from work, laughed until we cried, ate lots of girly things and enjoyed celebrating good friendship!!! ❤️❤️ It doesn’t have to be fancy… just fun!!!
Love a good bar cart especially when it has coffee on it!! I feel like brunch is always the most fun party because it’s so easy! Wanting to do a last minute Galentine’s Party!!? Choose Brunch! You won’t be disappointed!!

You guys know I've been moving... and boy has it been crazy. With tons of packages being delivered and around the holidays I needed help protecting my deliveries which is why I've #Partnered with @myQConnect and this awesome #lifehack. My smart garage door opener works with @AmazonKey which allows me to get my Amazon packages delivered inside my garage. I also installed the myQ Smart Garage Camera so I can watch my Amazon Key In-Garage Deliveries live! I had no idea this even existed! It has changed my life! So now, as I'm planning for those Dinner Parties I can order from my phone, get notifications on my watch while I'm doing life and I can watch as the Driver delivers my packages conveniently and safely inside my garage. Never going back again! Check out link in bio to learn more about myQ and Amazon Key In-Garage Delivery.
The story of Jesus’ birth is a story marked by the advent season of waiting, peace, love, joy and hope. But it is a story marked by unexpected hospitality. The innkeeper didn’t have room in his inn, but he offered them all he had. He was willing to extend hospitality and generously give all he had. And in the midst of offering a stable, he offered a place for the Savior of the World to rest that first night. He didn’t have the perfect meal created or the nicest bedroom available. He didn’t clean the baseboards or vacuum the carpets. What he did have was a willing heart and an open door. Isn’t that the heart of Jesus? He calls us to be willing to love others and invite them in. This Christmas Season, I pray we don’t get too busy for the season and we learn from the Innkeeper. We use this as a a time to reflect on how well we love others and how well we invite them in. Take time to love and open yourself to the beauty and blessing of hospitality.
Salt and Pepper to taste (I usually toss 2 tbsp with my olive oil mixture) Toss Brussel Sprouts, Butternut Squash, New Potatoes, Onion, and Garlic with Olive Oil and Salt and lay flat on sheet pan – be careful not to overcrowd your veggies. Sprinkle the sausage on the veggies, and crack eggs over the veggies making sure not to break any of the yolk. When I reheat I usually put everything in a preheated cast iron on 425 F and re-roast for 10-15 minutes until everything is hot! If you want to crack eggs on the leftovers, put everything in the pre-heated cast iron, heat for 5-8 minutes on 425 F and then add eggs for the remaining 8-10 minutes.
n’t have time, we get busy with our kids, shopping for gifts, or even attending Christmas Parties. With 6 fewer days between Thanksgiving and Christmas it feels like I had not even finished the turkey before prepping appetizers and desserts for Holiday parties! Next these Forest Cupcakes are so fun and a favorite at Christmas Parties I just love how you can take store bought items and basic items at that and really create a fun treat!!
This Burrata and Pesto appetizer will win your friends and make you look like a Martha Stewart. ’s mozzarella that’s formed into a pouch and then filled with soft, stringy curd and cream. Always use a white or marble or neutral (a light neutral) colored plate – it really helps with presentation. Let me know what you think about this table top and would love to see your creations on Facebook and Instagram
