Yesterday I promised a photo, but I’m sorry I couldn’t get it up for you of our first bike ride through the trails. A feeling I got just told me to relax that day and to take all day rejoicing in Jesus name and appreciating Him for all that He did for us. I couldn’t get myself to work, rather I spent time with my family and we watched The Chosen, Passion of the Christ and The Bible. Landry has so many questions for me but I felt this Easter for once wasn’t about popping eggs or the Easter bunny 🐰 but all about Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. It felt so different. So fulfilling, I also spent time with God alone, when the boys went to sleep. Opened up my bible and started reading scripture in remembrance of the reason why we celebrate Sunday, and that’s so that we never forget the Resurrection of Jesus Christ who laid His life for us. Luke 23: 46-47 46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. 47 The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.” Rev 22: 12-16 12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Something in me hungers for the word of God, as I’ve mentioned before we are in our homes for a reason, churches, schools, some jobs are closed. I truly believe we should be students now more than ever, and seek God everyday, every chance we get, because there is nothing more freeing than the word of God, amen. ♥️ These flowers symbolize hope in home, thank you @bloomsybox for this beautiful bouquet. Today is Good Friday, a very significant day for us Christians. It is the day on which Christians commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. Good Friday is remembered as the day of Jesus Christ holy abode to heaven. So, it's time again for all to greet everyone with Good Friday wishes. I truly believe during this quarantine, God has given us all the time we need to come together as a family to spend every given moment to make the most of what we have. We are normally “too busy” but right now there’s a worldwide shutdown and with the grace of God I believe this is happening for a reason, we may not understand fully right now but if we seek Him and surrender to Him, I believe we may find peace. During this lockdown, my boys and I have gone bike riding this is our moments of peace and understanding we play worship music and just rejoice in the name of Jesus Christ, I wore my @fabletics outfit the other day and it was so refreshing! As quarantine as can be, my boys have been enjoying these books! Back in my childhood days, it was “Where’s Waldo?” Now it’s these fun Wimmel books that show you pictures and you can look for zoo animals in the zoo book and firefighters in the fire truck book! Knowing Landry he was the first to grab the fire truck book, he says he’s going to be a fire fighter to help people. The Untold Stories of Motherhood Volume 8: Mom Guilt Why is it that we automatically think we are doing something wrong if our child isn’t getting our attention, mom guilt kicks in and then all of a sudden we contemplate how bad of a mom we are. It is okay for us to ask for a day off to attend ourselves or for us to go to our hiding spots around the house just to catch our sanity back, it is also okay to give the kids a tablet or toy like ours from @picassotiles to play with or the @soundbotaudio headphones so they can tune us out too, if you want to binge watch Netflix for the next two hours.
