Over the years of working together, we’ve definitely had some downs! Typically the downs occur when we don’t separate work life from marriage life! This means if we have a working lunch, it doesn’t count as a date because there no intentionality there. If I’m upset about a work matter, it can’t roll over into my household because that’s a separate space. And vacations are non negotiable spaces where work can not exist unless agreed upon by both parties. These are a few tips we’ve learned over the past 7 years of working together.
