I’ve been documenting my dreams in the mornings when I can – and a message came to me that these dreams are showing me areas in my past that I am stuck to energetically. Literally stuck there – unable to move on emotionally or spiritually – because if the soul lives in non-linear time, obviously it won’t be governed by our physical concept of time moving forward. You may think it’s easy to just make another choice in those moments; don’t take things personally, stand up for yourself, speak your mind, have compassion and empathy, see everyone as a mirror, be courageous, look for similarities not differences, access your wisdom, learn from mistakes, lead by example, keep your emotions in check, keep talking, keep your big girl panties on… truth is, it’s not. ‘let go’ on Facebook and ‘let go’ on WordPress and ‘let go’ every time I pull cards.

Recently sick with a seasonal cold, I watched 12 hours of the extended versions of Lord of the Rings trilogy. Also I wonder – is ‘the Calloo’ a version of the Cailleach, goddess of Winter, mountains, storms, from Scotland/Ireland? ’s spirits as she swims the icy waters shuttling the slush diving below the ice Lower are my spirits than hers lower than those of the shivering sparrow perched on an icy bough lower are even mine.

Our little Charlie Brown tree is spectacular, adorned with the warmly twinkling old glass lights and wicker ornaments, felted animals and sterling collectables. There will be drum troops, story tellers, fire-spinners and labyrinths, fire sculptures and Morris Men dancers, with a lantern procession through the streets at the end. Then, we celebrate Christmas as well on the 25th, primarily with our extended families who all do this – but also so that we welcome Santa through the chimney that eve to fill up our stockings. Whichever holiday you celebrate this time of year, they are all filled with light and love and blessings for our loved-ones and thoughts for the less fortunate.

my body, my psyche is like a sleeping beauty, the Queen in the mounds asleep for 100 years – or Snow White, dead to the world until true love’s kiss. But at times there isn’t any of the usual fanfare that comes along with that: fear of rejection, fear of loss, fear of intimacy, fear of judgement, of not meeting expectations. But even still, as I watched the forest collect the night amidst the trees, it rained like there as some kind of purpose to it all. On the fourth day, there is a possibility that you can move into a moment where you don’t dream anymore, there’s no ambition left, there’s no hubris left, there’s not much ego left – and it’s in that sweet spot that you may get dreamt by the land itself, and that was the moment that myths used to move into the songlines of human beings
