This week’s events have left me feeling confused, deeply saddened, angry, and emotional. I realize now that not speaking up means acceptance and I DO NOT accept what is happening to people of color in this country. I obviously do not have all the words, but I have been reading, watching, and listening to powerful POC, who have helped educate and wake me up to the privilege I have as a white American and to the injustice that is going on. – Available to rent for free in June in the U.S.

This week I’m sharing my favorite pieces of artwork to give your home a refresh. I’ve tried to think about different kinds of art y’all would be interested in: black and white pieces, animal art for the kids room, colorful prints, and more. For some of the artwork pieces that don’t come framed, I have included some of my favorite frames below. If you happen to have a piece of art that is not a “conventional” size, frame it easy is a great site for custom frame sizes at a reasonable price.

I’ve included my favorite pillow inserts below and some tips for shopping for the right one. I personally love purchasing pillow covers and inserts separately, because as the seasons change Depending on how you want your throw pillows to look, you may prefer different kinds of pillow inserts.
