From the kids-only check-in counter and family suites to the family fun rooms and indoor water slide, the Chelsea Hotel makes it’s littlest guests a top priority and it quickly became our boys’ favorite hotel of all time! The Family Fun Suite at the Chelsea Hotel is hands-down the best family hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. The Best Family Friendly Hotel in Toronto Between the grand lobby with numerous dining options, the fantastic Family Fun Suite with so much space to rest and relax and the multifaceted Family Fun Zone- But we also truly enjoyed spending time inside the hotel and we wished we had another day just to relax in our Family Fun Suite and enjoy the Family Fun Zone some more.

Located along Williamsburg’s waterfront on the East River, Domino Park is a six acre green space that occupies the old Domino Sugar Refinery- a historic factory that dates back to mid 1800’s. Sugar production halted in 2004 and not long after that, plans were drawn up to turn the landmark space into one of New York City’s newest and hippest green spaces- Domino Park. The park’s designers intertwined the location’s history throughout the entire park space by using reclaimed materials from the sugar refinery to highlight the space’s industrial past. Domino Park may remind you of another recent green space addition to New York City- and that’s because Domino Park was designed by James Corner Field Operations, the same designer of the uber-popular High Line park.

If you’re hoping to swim with sea turtles on Maui, chances are you’re planning on heading to Turtle Town. Maluaka Beach, better known as Turtle Town, is Maui’s most popular spot for swimming with sea turtles. It’s important to know that Honokeana Bay is not the best places for the littlest of little ones or for very beginner snorkelers. There’s a point on the rocks where you’ll see people getting in and out of the water.

The Best of the Big Island: Visiting Volcanoes National Park with Kids Volcanoes National Park is located near the town of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. While Hilo isn’t known as the island’s main tourist area, we highly recommend booking a hotel in Hilo for a night or two if you plan on visiting Volcanoes National Park. The Hawaii Tri-Park Annual Pass costs $50.00 and allows for vehicle (and all occupants) entrance to Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, Haleakalā National Park, and Pu‘uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park. If you’ll be visiting other national parks in Hawaii, you can get the Hawai’i Island National Parks Adventure Book which has activities for all of the national parks on the island.
