I’m sharing some of my newest favorite products you can find at your local Target or Ulta Beauty that are honestly SO GOOD and don’t cost a fortune. I received full size versions of their Repairing Shampoo and Repairing Conditioner and some sample sizes of their Repairing Hair Mask (SO GOOD), and Volumizing Shampoo as well as the Volumizing Conditioner. While at Ulta, I grabbed this Dry Shampoo Infused with Kiwi Fragrance and Root Cleansing Shampoo Infused with Strawberry Ginger Fragrance. I’m especially loving the shampoo because I’m always looking for a great clarifying type shampoo.
Social media is a blessing and a curse all at the same time especially when it comes to beauty. There are so many products that get so hyped up over Instagram, which leave you sometimes wondering, is this product actually worth the purchase? I’m listing some of the products I’ve tried that I’ve been seeing everywhere, and I mean everywhere to help you figure out if it’s worth the splurge or if you need to save your money! Spoiler alert if you haven’t read Monday’s Foundation Faves or Flops post, the Tarte Shape Tape Foundation falls nowhere near that latter category
I decided on the shade Fair Light- Neutral (I wear the Light concealer shade for reference) and I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, but it’s definitely super close. I picked it up on a whim, and although I love the 3 foundations I mentioned above, sometimes I don’t want to wear a full coverage foundation every day to work. While it’s pretty spot on, I’m not going to go as far as to say it’s the absolute perfect match. While I was super excited for this product and was glad to test it out and try to find my perfect match with testing the app as well, it’s just not a perfect match in terms of formula for me.
On today’s edition of my Monday Favorites, I wanted to take a moment to discuss a skin issue I have been dealing with and a few products I’ve found on whim that have helped to clear up that issue almost instantly as I started using them. The problem I’m talking about is those pesky little flesh colored facial bumps like these… Like the picture above, I found them most cropping up on my forehead, but I also sometimes get them on my cheek area. The texture is a little harsh, so use this gently on your skin so you do not irritate it. I use this after washing my face, but before I apply moisturizer or any other topical product to my skin.
