Things Teachers Don't Learn in School

Skip to main content On the days that you feel your best, what have you done to reach that feeling? Can you identify the things that help you function at your ideal state? Things Teachers Don't Learn in School

No one ever told me that these experiences would change me as a teacher because they would help me to get to know my students as something other than students. During a chemistry lesson, I don't get to show students how to be respectful when entering a new culture or how to take risks when trying new foods to fully experience a new place. My tribe is the group of teachers that builds me up when things start to fall down, who inspire me to be a better teacher and a better person, and who are always there day in and day out.
