I am a 20 year old sophomore at Liberty University. I am an ADVID Pinterest user and get most inspiration from there. I love lifestyle, fashion, and things that would help high school/college students. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in July 2019 and now want to share my story and how I am able to continue living my life like normal.

Corinthia Leigh My Everyday Smoothie Crohns

So today I am going to share with you my insanely simple, yet super useful smoothie recipe I make every morning to start off my day! So the ingredients I use are frozen strawberries, spinach, a banana, and chia seeds (I told you it was simple). I take about a cup of frozen strawberries, pile on some spinach, cut a banana in half, pour on two spoonfuls of chia seeds, and add water. So spinach and chia seeds are such an essential for a good source of iron that you can barely taste in a smoothie.

Dear Professor Wright

When being told to create a website I didn’t want to step out of the “Strategic Communications Box” that I had created in my head. For the past 2 months I’ve been working on a website that held what I thought would make me successful; statistics, photographs, and projects. What I have now realized is that while all of that is great, I want this to be a place where I can be fearfully and wonderfully me. A place where I can share my hardships, share the really good sandwich I ate, share small victories I have, and overall can just help others.

Corinthia Leigh

I started 2019 (quite literally on New Year’s Day) with the worst stomach pain I had ever experienced and my health just continued to kinda spiral after that. As things got worse, I spent my entire summer getting tests done, in and out of the hospital, and getting different procedures done. I spent the summer as a camp counselor to some super crazy (yet super amazing) teens. I spent a lot of this semester upset and angry at God for making me miss opportunities because of the pain I was in.
