How to Marie Kondo your beauty routine for Spring 💐 . I talked about my favorite beauty product switch-ups on @greatdaylivetampabay . Here are some extra tips that I didn’t mention on-air (check my stories for the full 🎥segment!). 🌷 Check expiration dates. It’s a good idea to remember to do this at least twice a year. Makeup and skin care products do expire, and if you keep using it, you risk break-outs and bacterial infections. Mascara should be tossed after three months, liquid liner and concealer after six months, and lipstick, lip gloss, and foundation after one year. 🌷 Update your daily moisturizer. Most of us don’t have the same skin care needs year-round. Your winter moisturizer is probably too rich for summer, so it’s a good idea to switch to one that’s lighter and contains SPF 30. @olay is my fave. 🌷Deep Clean your makeup. Take the time to clean and sanitize your products and tools. Wash your brushes, wipe down your storage containers, and even give your makeup bag a good deep clean. Beauty products can be particularly dangerous portals for infection, so make sure you're keeping your collection clean regularly. 🌷Exfoliate from head to toe. Spring is the perfect time to return to exfoliating and brighten the dull skin that has accumulated during winter. My new favorite is Olay Cleansing & Renewing Nighttime Body Wash with Retinol. . UPDATED 🌥 Skincare Routine: . I know I live in Florida but that doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten how to transition my skincare from Winter to Spring- I also know that the skin on our legs can get super dry & flakey and it sometimes doesn’t get the TLC 💓 it needs, so here’s how I’m getting my gams ready for shorts weather 🌴: 1️⃣ Scrub! Exfoliate with oil & sugar or a super hydrating body scrub. Do this 1x a week for best results on your legs, booty, arms, back. And feet 👣. 2️⃣ I just discovered a body conditioner with retinol that rinses off from @olay and I’m 💟 in love. 3️⃣ For FIRMING & TIGHTENING @adoniaorganics LEGTONE SERUM. It evens out dimples, and it’s made with hydrating plant stem cells. I use it every 👏 day. 4️⃣ For an extra boost, (this is a commitment though), you can use @mynuface NuBODY Skin-toning device.
