Hollywood Studios Update

We begin our April 2019 Walt Disney World construction updates at Hollywood Studios, where there are no shortage of new and ongoing projects to cover. Disney has announced festivities for the park’s 30th Anniversary on May 1, including a cavalcade starring Mickey and friends at 10 a.m. down Hollywood Blvd, a Commemorative 30th Anniversary Guide Map & Button, and exclusive merchandise & food. These provide pops of color, and it’s nice to see Walt Disney World actually recognizing a park anniversary, but I find this design and logo so bland. but I’d think this whole courtyard will be one of the next areas of the park targeted for a makeover, and I’d expect this space to be opened up a bit.

2019-2020 Disneyland Crowd Predictions Post-Star Wars Land

In this post, we’ll offer revised predictions for the best and worst months to visit for the year following Star Wars Land in terms of crowds and wait times. New Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Party Coming to Disney California Adventure!

Disneyland Resort has announced a new event coming this September and October: Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure park. Tickets range in price from $100 to $145 depending upon date, and party tickets allow you to access Disney California Adventure Park for up to 4 hours before Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party begins. Here are some of the main entertainment offerings that Disney has announced thus far that will occur during Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure: • World of Color: Villainous! If World of Color: Villainous is exclusive to Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, that alone will be all the motivation many locals need to purchase event tickets.

The Trouble with Tomorrowland (New Paint Photo Update)

This is becoming increasingly clear in Magic Kingdom, but it’s hardly a problem unique to Walt Disney World. And it’s true at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Here’s a look at the new paint scheme around Mickey’s Star Traders. Personally, I think clean design and sweeping lines leading to TRON Lightcycle Power Run, with that attraction’s architecture punctuating the style of Tomorrowland, is pretty much the best case scenario.
