This year has seen us already create a number of different parties based around popular movie themes from The Greatest Showman (one of our faves and definitely not going out of trend anytime soon) to Mary Poppins and we predict a big surge in requests for Dumbo which we just cannot wait for. We love to create statement cake tables as a focal point of our parties and balloons are always a welcome feature in these, for example our client wanted a Pink Pirate themed party where we had a grand piano in the room which we couldn’t move, so what else did we do but turned it into a pirate ship and use an organic balloon structure cascading down the sides to add a statement design that made it a huge talking point. With companies being more conscious of the impact plastic has on the planet and the desire to teach our mini guests and the future generation of leaders the importance on this, the party and events industry is taking note and making a big effort on creating sustainable parties. This year so far has seen us install a Victorian Carousel in one of our favourite London Hotels to create a fully immersive Hogwarts Experience where the mini muggles became students and took part in various lessons to graduate as fully fledged wizards.
* 250g asparagus, woody bases removed and sliced in half on an angle Prepare the marinade by putting all of the ingredients into a high-speed blender and blitzing until you get a bright green paste. Once the lamb is beginning to soften, remove from the pan (reserving the liquid) and place into the roasting”¨tray over the top of the salad onions”¨and arranging the potatoes and garlic around the edge. Smother the remaining marinade onto the top of the lamb and return to the oven at 220°C for 20 minutes before turning the temperature down to 200°C and cooking for a further 40 minutes. While the lamb is roasting, strain the reserved slow-cooking liquid and pour into a high-speed blender with the mint, parsley, salt and lemon juice and blitz until you get a lovely green jus.
To make these string Easter eggs you will need: Making string Easter eggs can get very messy, so make sure you have everything set up before you start. After you have wrapped the wool around the balloon, take one of the small strands of wool and attach it to the end of the balloon. If you find that the wool is still sticking to the balloon as it deflates, then I recommend trying to loosen it before cutting the hole.
